What Do Polynucleotides Do?
Polynucleotides are regenerative injectable treatments designed to improve skin quality by supporting the skin’s natural repair processes. Rather than adding volume, they help stimulate tissue regeneration, improve hydration, and enhance collagen and elastin production, resulting in healthier, stronger and more radiant skin over time.
Polynucleotides can help to:
- Improve skin texture and elasticity
- Boost hydration from within
- Reduce the appearance of fine lines
- Improve skin firmness
- Support collagen and elastin production
- Improve the appearance of tired, ageing, or sun-damaged skin
- Refresh delicate areas such as around the eyes, face, neck, and décolletage
Results develop gradually as the skin regenerates, creating a natural-looking improvement.
How Long Do Polynucleotides Last?
Results appear gradually over several weeks as the skin’s natural repair processes are stimulated. For the best outcome, an initial course of 2–4 treatments, spaced approximately 4 weeks apart, is usually recommended.
Following a full treatment course, results typically last 6–12 months, depending on your skin condition, age, lifestyle, and individual response. Maintenance treatments may be recommended to help sustain the results.
Who Cannot Have Polynucleotide Treatments?
Polynucleotide treatments may not be suitable if you:
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Have an active skin infection, cold sore, or inflammation in the treatment area.
- Have a known allergy to any of the ingredients used in the treatment.
- Have certain autoimmune disorders or uncontrolled medical conditions.
- Are currently unwell with a significant illness or infection.
- Are taking certain medications that may affect treatment suitability.
- Are under 18 years of age.
A comprehensive consultation and medical assessment will be carried out before treatment to ensure it is safe and appropriate for you.
